The Institute has partnered with the Amon Carter Museum of American Art to establish the Onstead Institute / Amon Carter Museum Fellowship in Museum Education beginning in the summer of 2019. This 135-hour academic internship focuses on the museum's K-12 museum education programs. Through this internship, selected CVAD students gain experience observing, planning, and implementing community outreach and school tours for K-12 students. The selected students receive course credit for the internship and $8,000 in compensation.
